just to F*** around with microsoft i created a new account noticed that the option to add a custom picture through the use of the xbox camera was taken away. i called microsoft asked about it and they said yes the only gamer pics you are able to use is those of your avatar and or marketplace content. so for fun i said SCREW YOU and loaded up my GT on horizon put in a custom pic of a NARUTO character and after like a day i had a suspension for gamertag modding and or profile modding according to the email.
now before anyone says anything NO i did not pay for a membership i used a free 2 day code i had from past games i purchased im not that stupid lol
oh also, i had no modifications to avatar, time i had on xbox, achievements, clothing, bio, nothing…just a picture
ummm im simply posting this because i saw another thread which was closed where people claimed you can not get banned when you can.
i spent over an hour talking with these people who work for xbox and they said yes if the gamerpicture provided is not one obtainable by the marketplace then you can be banned.
now in the case you had your gamerpicture custom from day one then your ok because u started when u were allowed to but now you no longer have the option
false? how so? because on my GT i am using i would love to put the picture of the person my GT is based on but fear of being banned i have not done it
hmmm i wonder why mine doesnt appear then to have that option =( i have my camera plugged in yet nothing comes up and the green ring is even on around the camera
PSH now i do, i remember when you came over and said watch and then smashed it against my wall hahahahahhaha
ok well then maybe it was something i did while putting the picture into my previous account, maybe i did hit something to change an aspect of my my avatar or change w/e else
but if you guys say that it is safe then i guess i’ll give it another shot
Yeah, I made that thread where people said you can’t get banned. You can take a picture with the camera, and you can’t get banned for using the gamerpicture tool on Horizon. Apparently
