hmm. i have the game running in DX12 mode and started Wemod once after it was running but it wont find the game

Has anyone gotten this to work? It gets stuck when trying to load the game and says it couldn’t find it.

  1. Tried launching in DX12 and hitting ‘Play’ while in the game’s Main Menu, as well as in-game while playing solo.
  2. Tried launching in Vulkan just in case, same results both in-game and in the Main Menu

Same problem with the windows store version. Weirdly when starting the Windows store version it says to launch dx 12 version from steam :S the when you launch and tab back it won’t find the game.

I can’t get it to work either. Even tried adding za4_dx12.exe path and it doesn’t seem to work.

MAF has made a change on the backend that should help with this. Can you guys try again and let us know if you are still having issues?

I did manage to get it to work. DO NOT START THE GAME open We Mod and then click play when you do it will open Zombie Army 4 Dead War launcher then click “Launch(DX12)” then the trainer should connect if it does not just click retry then it will work. This works for me

it dont work ive tried like 5-13 times now

The issue is that Microsoft typically converts their files/content to .LNK instead of using .EXE which is what Wemod looks for when finding game files. This has been an issue with me for multiple games from Microsoft store or the Xbox app. If you find a good way around, let us know pls.
