It does work I just did it. Go to the Car Collection page and purchase from there. Follow same steps.

i promise you it does work, just keep trying, i didnât get it right away either it took me a few tries and a few crashes. Donât give up if you really want the money! 
How do you use the other cheats such as teleport to waypoint and speed boost? Whenever I try to activate them I get a weird sound
everytime i turn the trainer on it turns it self back off so as of right now it dont seam to be working

Same. I decided to use this after my save got corrupted and forza support ignored me. Now I canât even get money to replace what I lost because IT DOESNâT WORK.
again, can confirm all cheats work after wemodâs update, either these people have a pirated version of the game, or they are impatient. the money cheat will not automatically add itself, you need to do the steps exactly how the video says, or follow my comment above, stop posting on here that it doesnât work and you cannot get the cheats to work because they do, just keep trying its that easy.
I have a perfectly good steam copy thank you very much. The problem is that AS SOON AS I turn on the money cheat, Wemod acts like the game closed and turns off. Meaning that I canât really follow the video if the cheat wonât stay on long enough for it to work. Which means that IT DOESNâT WORK.

Hi would like to ask after i used the credit mod and purchased the car, the game automatically crashed.
Any ideas how to solve the issue?
after the purchase, and the game is done saving, you MUST deactivate the money cheat, even if it crashes most of the time your money will still show up, but to keep it from crashing you need to turn off the money cheat. 
Followed original steps, followed steps in the video, followed steps in the comments. I own a full release from steam of the game and the credits cheat DOES NOT work. I made sure to purchase a cheap car I already had enough credits to buy. Before purchasing, I activate cheat. As soon as the game is done saving, I deactivate cheat. And nothing happens, me credits are as they were (minus the cost of the car ofc).
i promise it does work i just used the cheat about 2hr ago, its very finicky, and it took me a while and a few crashes for it to work, if it help makes sure you go offline or enter solo and not multiplayer also make sure wemod is up to date, just keep trying man i promise you it works 
I have spent almost six hours trying the credits cheat, copying the video exactly, while in Solo Mode with Steam in Offline Mode, and it either has no effect or crashes the game. The credits cheat is not working properly with the steam version of the game.
im sorry to hear bro, i wish i could help you, all i can say is to keep trying, i know it sucks and its time consuming but unfortunately thats what happens when we use cheats, either they work or they dont, i really hope you can get it to work, make sure you are at the store page ready to buy a car, then activate the money cheat and slowly increase the amount you want, dont hold the increase button down cause it will crash, what i did was do it in small increments and then purchased the car, i waited til it saved and then i deactivated the cheat, went back to the shop page and rinse and repeat, it took me a long time but eventually you will get it, once you are maxed out you will be so happy haha again im sorry if im not much help i do hope this at least helps a little, keep trying brother dont give up! 
Maybe it does work for you, but after another few hours of failed attempts I switched tactics and used known farming exploits. In two hours I had millions and over 100 new cars. Itâs literally quicker to use the in game exploits to farm wheelspins and credits than it is to fight with this cheat.
My advice to anyone else having this issue is to follow any of the hundreds of guides on youtube, and farm millions while AFK.

add a skill point cheat feature for infinite car mastery points
