I am assuming @BungDorji did purchase the game on Steam, I also purchased my version of the game on Steam and am getting the same issues.

I have tried with different mod versions and also reinstalled the game again. Tried the open beta version and nothing worked.

Have tried all three of the solutions, still not working.
Tried with other games, WeMod is working fine.
I’m currently playing CK3 with WeMod on and it’s working.
Any other possible solution?
I see. If you haven’t already, please try adding exclusions for these two folders in your antivirus:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Yup, just double-checked. I removed the files and added them again as an exception. Not working still.
When I press play, the game does turn on however, immediately after WeMod gives me the error.
Even if I’m on the main menu / or in the game screen, it still gives me the error.

I saw the suggestion to use an older version of the game. How would one even go about doing that?
