Infinite Loading

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
I’m having the exact same error message and in the same situation re installed version(s) of .net

(Post split from Necro-thread: Infinite loading screen on WeMod App - #5, which is about an older version of WeMod).

Hello and welcome to the community!

The most common cause of trainers not being able to inject into games is due to interference from security programs on your PC or network. See: "Wemod failed loading the cheats into your game" / "We’re having trouble downloading the cheats" - #2 by Ravenfyre for the necessary instructions to solve that.

Otherwise:
1, What game(s) are having the issue?
2. What store did you get the games from or are they cracked/pirated?
3. What country are you in right now?

None of the above I’m afraid as cannot get past the loading screen of the wemod app after logging in.
Antivirus disabled and latest .net 4.8.1 installed.

Get the error message:

Application: WeModAuxiliaryService.exe

Have tested in windows sandbox and does loads fine, but would be useful to find out what exactly is causing this as a reinstall of windows for just this app is going to be out of the question.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

System.AccessViolationException is generally caused by a conflict with other software on the same computer when trying to access system resources.

When a program encounters a “System.AccessViolationException,” it often indicates that it’s trying to access memory that it cannot or doesn’t have permission to access, which can happen if the memory is already being used by another program or if there’s a conflict with how memory is being managed.

When multiple programs are running on a computer, they all compete for resources like memory (RAM) and processing power. If another program is using a large amount of memory and not leaving enough for WeModAuxiliaryService.exe to function properly, it could lead to issues like the one you’re experiencing.

  1. Sometimes the most simple fix for this is just to restart the computer.

  2. Close unnecessary programs that are using up system resources on your machine unnecessarily.

  3. Check Task Manager for programs that are using up an excessively high amount of your system resources and either find out why & resolve it (ie, it’s massively outdated) or uninstall it. The most common culprit of resource hogging is an antivirus, especially while it is performing a scan or updating - if this is your case, consider switching to an antivirus provider that doesn’t hog as many resources.

  4. Control your Startup settings and disable everything that is completely unnecessary to have launching as soon as you turn the PC on.
