Did you have the game running before hitting “play” on wemod?
You should always run the game first, then “play” on the trainer.
NEVER launch the game from the trainer, as it launches (in any game) either the launcher or the version without a bypass.
If you would of looked three days ago, the specific instructions are there.
1: Open Wemod
2: Run Bypass
3: Run Game
4: Once in game hit “Play” on Wemod

Is the bypass actually safe? I know you say its a false positive but it still makes me nervous about it
Yes, bypasses are often falsely flagged by antivirus programs due to their nature. WeMod is a legitimate business, and it would be extremely unwise for them to put anything malicious on our customers computers.
No-
You have to run the ByPass and then launch the game through Steam then click Play in WeMod once in the game for it to work. Sometimes you need to close the by pass and open it up again if game doesn’t launch right away.
What I’ve been doing without fail since they added it and haven’t had an issue.

Run the ByPass (Then you have to allow it through ya Anti Virus software for it to open the folder, trick I’ve done is…try to start it and if its flagged, click the notification that pops up and drop down arrow and click allow or once in Virus and threat protection, go to Protection History and allow most recent one as it should be the ByPass.) ~ Start Phasmo through Steam ~ Once game launches and you are in the main menu, click Play in WeMod.

Everything is perfectly safe too as I’ve been using it since they released it without a single issue on any PC of mine or even in game for that matter. So do not worry at all about any possible threats.

i cannot download it currently. somehow it just loads forever ifi press the mouse wheel. when i normally press on it it just does not work, iut tries too do something but immedieately stops. fixed, just downloaded it via my tablet this works
disable windows defender then install it as windows defender scans downloads before it is downloaded fully, because if you dont then it wont be able to download.
Maximum sanity cheat seems to be not working at all. Tried all the other cheats and they work but the maximum sanity don’t.
Max sanity definitely does not work. Everything else does but that.
I want to use this but I am unsure if it could cause me to get banned. Is there anyone currently who has used it within the past few days who can guarantee that its safe to use on singleplayer?
I mean I used it 2 times and haven’t been banned but idk if its risky I think they check memory stuff and like file names something like that so idk
I run the bypass, it opens then i click play in steam and it starts to launch and gets to the “Initializing” stage of launch then freezes, error box pops up, and it crashes?
Hey there, how about trying this sequence instead? See if it works on your end.
(Close the WeMod app entirely before doing so, not just minimize it you need to Quit the App entirely)
- First, launch the game.
- Once inside the game, alt+tab and Launch Bypass. (
It should minimize/disappear from the screen) - Switch to WeMod. Then Click the Play button.
So i’ve sinced used it, works great, but now i’m curious again: If I use it on multiplayer, I will 100% be banned if I get reported, yes?
Yes, Using cheats in multiplayer will get you banned.
Is it in general? Like when you load in? Or is it if you get reported by other people

How can I start the bypass so I can get the mods into Phasmo?
why cant i download bypass?
Ok so I used the Trainer and all that, but now whenever I launch Phasmophobia without it, it just crashes. Is it because I didnt disable the bypass and if so how do i do that because just launching bypass again doesnt seem to work. Unless im just doing something else wrong
Ive been using it, and havent had any problems, if youre scared to turn off antivirus, go to settings>antivirus and youll see the bypass triggered it, but if you allow that file you wont have problems downloading it and you wont have to turn off your antivirus
