So I DNR’d Starfield and it worked great until today. Now, neither the god mode nor the infinite health are working. Game runs fine, cheats don’t now.
Do Not Resuscitate?
You may think your acronym/abbreviation is common, but you might be wrong about that. What is DNR? Downreved? What?
Sorry for the delay. This is what happens when you get old. In the old days (ms-dos, windows 3.1) it was often necessary to delete and reinstall software when it became corrupted. It pre-existed the do not resuscitate deal.
P.S. Other cheat sites show updates on or after 16th.
Why update when everything is working fine? For example, if you use other mods on the side and wemod doesn’t run properly, wemod can’t do anything about it, there is also a lack of more precise information (which Windows, how much memory, which programs are running on the side, which additional mods, etc.) so you can’t say in general terms why something doesn’t work Others don’t have these problems and it runs perfectly…
When the game is loaded, wemod changes values in the RAM and a game patch comes out that doesn’t change these values. Wemod doesn’t need an update. Problems arise when other programs or mods access or change these places. therefore more precise information is necessary.
Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) is @ 5 years older than MS-DOS… take it from another old person. That said, OK, you deleted and re-installed. That shouldn’t have affected the WeMod/Trainer at all.
I’ve mostly been building ships and so not using the trainer/cheats but when I tested these things are activating for me.
Things that I can think of that may be an issue - WeMod had a big update recently, are you running the latest version of weMod? v9.0.3? If not, I would start there as they changed the version detection of the application to make it better use the right cheat version.
If so, make sure its running it anyway. They re-added the ‘History’ function. Use the ‘Mod Settings’ button and then choose the mods version. I’m running a Steam version and it shows 24 March 2024 as my version. This is working for me and for those specific cheats you mention.
If you’re still having issues, and you are running any mods at all, I would remove them all and see if the trainer resumes working.
I’m sorry, I think that multiple conversations are going on here that are getting intertwined. The delete and reinstall fixed all the problems I was having with the starfield software lagging and crashing to the desktop.
Then after the update, right now it seems like just the God Mode/Ignore Hits and the Infinite Health are not working. And to be fair, they work when getting shot at but do not work when you change the settings in the settings menu>gameplay options, when you ask for environmental damage and afflictions; combat affliction gain to increase.
I just run vanilla starfield with no mods at this time.
I hope this clarifies what I was trying to say.
Ah, yeah, I am betting the new options do something weird to the registers and it may not be something fixable in the trainer. I’m not aware of the nuts and bolts to that level though so it’s up to fling.
So is there a way to make that request or are you doing it?
Is it possible to make a easy digipick trainer?
it may be due to the new in-game settings because there you can adjust the healing, health, damage you receive or deal, etc.
First time booting the game up and the trainer in 6 months and am also experiencing the various climate / environmental damage isn’t mitigated by either god mode or infinite health as it used to be. Do we know if an update is in the works for this already beefy trainer (thanks FLiNG btw!)
The edit credits cheat seems to be always on. There is a checkmark and I’ve clicked it, and it appears to be always on. Please make it toggleable. No matter how many times I left or right click it, it’s always on. In fact, there is no on-off toggle. Just an always-on checkmark. Credits is one thing that I DON’T want a cheat for.
So I am having a new weird problem. When I start the game through the WeMod app, the game starts fine but then the WeMod app itself shuts down. I have checked background apps and I don’t have any anticheat programs running. Running the game vanilla without mods (outside of WeMod).
Since the game is full screen, I can’t easily get back to the wemod app to restart it.
Actually found a way around that by having notepad running and switching to that and then I can get to the task bar and run WeMod. Then the program works fine.
Any ideas or anyone else having this kind or problem? It started a week ago.
You can check the “Creator” tab in the WeMod software to see the current development & update queue. ![]()
This could be an antivirus program not liking a particular cheat. Make sure WeMod is added as an exception. The files you’ll need to whitelist are mentioned here: "Wemod failed loading the cheats into your game" / "We’re having trouble downloading the cheats" - #2 by Ravenfyre.
It could also be due to insufficient system resources, most likely RAM, to run both WeMod and the game together, so your computer deliberately kills one of them to prevent issues like overheating. Just because a computer has, say 16GB of RAM built into it, that doesn’t mean you have 16GB of RAM available to use - other applications on the machine are also using that RAM. Close all unnecessary background processes when playing games to free up more system resources.
Other than that, you can press Win+D to minimise all your open applications and see the desktop. A Pro membership also lets you control the trainer from the Xbox Game Bar or a mobile device. ![]()
I’d like to propose these cheats: Instant or super easy digipick (all digipicks have only one selection or infinite digipicks), easy temple (only need one to boost into one sparkle at the temple and to get the location of the next one without having to fast travel to get it), and ability to increase the skill on the “powers” without having to do the temple.
It may seem like a checkbox. But on the overlay version the same button is texted: “Set”. So i guess it’s a “Set” button.
There is however an annoying logical fault here:
If you have entered a value, it always seem to set it when the trainer launches. But ONLY if you have “Save mods” active.
Edits like these should either not be a “saved mod”, or they should not be triggered at startup. The latter option would be preferable, as you could save a number, but only edit manually.
I got the same issue on several games and similar value edits in WeMod trainers.
Unless there is an option to skip value edits on trainer startup for “saved mods”, I suggest edits like set skill points/credits/experience is removed from “saved mods” functionality.
Remembering “unlimited stamina/mana/whatever” (typically on/off), and set these active at startup is good.
Setting skill points, experience, credits (Typical one off exact value edits) at startup is bad. ![]()

Can you please add easy lockpicking.
