I appreciate the answer, but the same goes for any other game.
When i google animal dicks i will obviously find animal dicks so ofc ima find ppl with missing dll issues when i google “absolver missing dll files”
With the normal launcher the game works perfectly fine, but once put the wemod launcher in place it keeps telling me i’m missing the dll files, and i checked if they’re in the right directory which they indeed are.
The wemod exe is faulty and you guys know it, we don’t demand an update ASAP but when multiple people report it aint working atleast look into it LMAO
i actually managed to get passed the missing dll by doing what Ravenfyre suggested, Varifying the game, but i have a new problem, it just gives this error message, i tried to Verify again, paste the executable in again, redownload it again, nothing worked so far.
never mind, by verifying the game it just puts the anti cheat back, and now you have both anti cheat and anti cheat bak, so you either get stuck at missing dll or at having the anti cheat in place both preventing you from using the trainer and even launching the game with the downloaded exe
Yes, verifying game files via the game’s launcher will restore the game’s files to their original state. Because the original exe was renamed to add .bak on the end of it, as far as the verification tools are concerned, the original .exe is missing from the game files, so it replaces it, leading to the need to redo the bypass.
i meant that the game gives missing dll files because it cannot find the “EasyAntiCheat” folder, since it has been renamed to “EasyAntiCheat Bak”
so verifying integrity brings a new “EasyAntiCheat” folder, deleting the old “EasyAntiCheat Bak” folder and using the downloaded .exe again will repeat the process, the game doesn’t start because it cannot find the EasyAntiCheat folder, and the new .exe from here doesn’t bypass that requirement, at least not for me.
alright never mind, it actually started to work, i reinstalled and without running it once i added the downloaded .exe, it seems like you might need to put it in the folder before ever running the game
Does this mod work? I have tried following the instructions multiple times and broke the game… I have it working fine now without the trainer but don’t want to go through the process again if the mod doesn’t work. Just need clear instructions start to finish
I have a problem renaming the original exe file. The (.exe) doesn’t show on the file name, it’s hidden but it is an exe type file[Absolver (.exe)]. So it doesn’t matter what I name it, (.exe) will always be at the end.
example: Absolver.exe.bak(.exe) or Absolver.bak(.exe)
You need to correctly follow the instructions that are both in the trainer itself (under the Info button) and in the first post of this thread. Otherwise the trainer will not work.
Did the exact steps required.
Just installed the latest version today, from Steam.
Renamed the exe file, then pasted the exe from wemod.
(PS: Windows clean installed.
Game and steam not installed on C - windows partition - but on D)
A bunch of errors happen:
LE: I followed the [Qrainex] instructions from above - I unninstalled the game - then reinstalled a fresh copy - than applied directly the exe without starting the game in the original mode. - And it worked… So… he was right… the exe could not find the newly cheat folder created.
Exactly Zurazan is right. I downloaded the Absolver.exe launcher you guys provided us, then I renamed the original Absolver.exe to Absolver.exe.bak (the normal launcher), then I dropped the Absolver.exe you guys provided us. And I tried these three things, open the new launcher in I put in the D:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Absolver Directory, and comes up with missing dll’s, then I try with administrator, but still nothing works. I then Verify the integrity of the game through steam properties, and I open it through wemod instead, nothing works.
This is faulty does not work in anyway to most people, and gives terrible, but I mean terrible description on what I need to do (if im doing it wrong ofc), but obviously im describing what u guys said to do. So no one should invest any kind of time to this if it doesnt work the second time.
PLEASE DO NOT TRY DOING THIS, THIS DOESNT WORK IN ANYWAY, for anyone who tried multiple times.
