how do i run this trainer with the xbox app game please?

This is for steam, I will be creating one for WS later on.

Please update the trainer for the steam version, when I click the play the steam detected it and the trainer could not run it.

If you’re attempting to cheat in multiplayer mode, trainers are not designed to be used online. They are for single player only. You risk being banned from Steam for attempting to cheat online.

If you’re having an issue using the trainer in single player, launch the game first from Steam, wait until you are on the main menu, alt+tab to WeMod, press Play, then alt+tab back to the game. See if that makes any difference.

First of all, that screenshot is of the Age Of Empires II: Definitive edition. This is the trainer for Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. Notice the lack of the Roman numerals “II”.
A trainer for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition has not yet been created, but you can vote for it: https://www.wemod.com/cheats/age-of-empires-ii-definitive-edition-trainers.

Either way, the error is nothing to do with the trainer. It’s a common issue with the game. If you search on Steam you’ll find dozens of reports with that error message for Age of Empires.

The most common fix is to download Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679. Download and install both x86 and x64 versions.

If that doesn’t help, an AoE dev shared this possible solution:

"Click here to open the steps
  1. In your Steam Game Library, find the game. Right click it and click Properties.
  2. Click the “Set launch options…” button.
  3. Type in NoStartUp and click OK.
  4. Click the “Local files” tab.
  5. Click the “Browse local files…” button to open the game folder.
  6. Delete (or rename) “Launcher”.
  7. Make a copy of “AoK HD”.
  8. Rename the copy to “Launcher”.
  9. Go back to the Steam properties window and click Close.

That’s a lot of taskbar pins, they’re making my eyebrow twitch. At least colour-coordinate them, man. :laughing:

Anyway. Try this:

  1. Launch the game from Steam first.
  2. When you are on the main menu, wait for two minutes (go make a cup of tea or colour-coordinate your taskbar pins, lol).
  3. Alt+Tab to the WeMod Desktop app.
  4. Press Play.
  5. Alt+Tab back to the game.

Let us know whether that makes any difference or not. :slight_smile:

When I play multiplayer and activate the cheater it says the game is not synchronized.
So you didn’t upgrade my account.
Can you fix it?

Trainers are designed to be used in single player, offline games only. WeMod does not provide hacks for online games nor does WeMod condone online cheating.
