Latest game version update is causing some issues.
I used wemod to start the game and adjusted some of my stats, then saved and quit out. Now if I try to launch the game normally through steam, it tells me I have a save version and game version mismatch and won’t let me play. I must start game through wemod in order to play now.
What if all you did was duplicate items and turned them into runes by selling them and using them to get runes. And used nothing else, after when online with that same character
; or made that your offline character and when online on your legit (different) character
Player cheats aren’t working on latest patch, sets stats to 2. Be careful if you want to take your save online at some point with a bug like this as stat manipulation, even if you try to set it back to what it was, is often something caught by the banhammer.
For the least risk you’re better off only using things that suspend stat values or aim to lock them where they are temporarily, like what most of the player section does when it isn’t buggy.
Hey can anyone say if the new patches are worth installing?
Did they nerf some weapons with it or make something more difficult?
I am still playing vanilla version.
Does anyone know if you only have a risk of getting soft banned if you modify your character? I for example only used Edit runes and unlimited Item usage, which is not tied to your character stats modify. I play the CRACKED version but I plan on switching to the original one to play online with a friend.
So this is what i did, and it worked so far, there is an option in the game that has a globe thing, its like the network/ options about onling co-op summon. it pretty much allows you to decide when you start the game, do you want to start online right way or offline.
i turn that off offline option and i would avoid decline the data sharing thing just incase
Thankyou for your reply, If i just wanted to get achievements while using wemod and not planning to play online at all setting off-line mode ingame is good enough???
My Mind and Strength suddenly got set to 1. can wemod be the reason for that?
Been playing a character in offline mode (without altering the game files) with wemod running
using the unlimited HP/FP/Stamina and 100% drop rate cheats.
Been playing same character in online mode but without wemod running.
Any idea if thats the case? I noticed just after using the Baldachin’s Blessing item. Just randomly used it to get rid of the HP debuff
I know with the new patch they nerfed the runes you get in one of the farming spots from 1300 a kill to 1000 a kill I would stick with the version you have until your character has a decent amount of runes from farming
Hey yeah just ran into this problem. Now I can only start through Wemod and not Steam, Steam is giving me “The Game Version and save data version are different. Quit the game and use the steam client to update game data to the latest version before trying again.”
I should say I only use Wemod for quality of life stuff, like infinite Rune Arcs, Stonewarden Keys and that’s pretty much it. I usually always start the game through Steam. Does anyone know how to fix it? Or do we have to wait for the new version of Wemod and apply another save? Thanks.
Yeah, I run it with all in-game settings on offline and EAC disabled, but with Steam Online. Steam being offline or online would not make a difference, steam does not participate in any Anti-Cheat protocols on games that aren’t VAC protected, which Elden Ring isn’t. Only 2 things need to worry about, EAC and any Built-In systems that report back to dev.
Replying for the last time as I couldn’t edit it again. I played online today for a few hours with no problems. I even loaded into an invade. I’m going offline again to dupe reinforcement stones and soul orbs once again. Seems like I have yet to be banned. Will only update this again if I am banned.
WeMod cant seem to find Elden Ring. I’m launching through WeMod as well. I added both original Elden Ring and start protected to custom launch but it’s still not loading. I’m on v1.02.2
The game actually launches – but WeMod cant identify the game.
The inputs for modifying your base stats are EXTREMELY common inputs used in day to day PC usage (mistake of the trainer dev.) F5 for example, you could be tabbed out of the game and just refreshing your Youtube recommendations, and accidentally modify one of your base stats because you pressed F5.
