And me Why is the level back to 7? didn’t save progress when i moved to some fast travel points back to 7 with ( mind strengths progress saved etc.) i use edit runes Just raise the level a little, for example, for a start, I don’t want to get more than 20 levels

I tried all ways for 2 days. AV is disabled, I added the shortcut myself, tried to launch steam and game offline. Lots of methods like this. However, I always get the same error. Do you have a valid solution for this error?

If i use inf health in online with my buddy - will i get banned or nope?

Not sure this is relevant. But I will just post what happened to me on DS3.
I dont understand what a soft ban in this game would be? Am I not able to play online anymore? I cant play the game at all temporarily? idk. But during DS3 I played the game Modded with Unlimited HP and other kinds of cheats and was able to play online for a while with it, even got invaded and invaded others. Even tho i had unlimited HP on I was still able to die in online. not until a week later I tried logging in game again and i got hit with a msg saying game character was altered and have been reset. Thats pretty much it. It deleted my character and I had to restart. so i do not know if similar stuff would be in Elden ring. But gd luck my Tarnished fellows.

The difference between an outright ban and “soft ban” is this: With a ban, you’re forbidden from playing on that respective game’s servers. Soft bans mean that you’re still permitted to play the games, but you’d be grouped with other people who have also been soft-banned. As in, a FPS player using aimbot would also be grouped with other cheaters, sparing regular players the frustration of grouping with those hackers/cheaters.

Same error here and i tried reinstalling the game with wemod.
not a question,because if you want use those cheat,it will close the EAC,and the game will not albe to online.

can EAC cause outright ban? or all games from FromSoftware is soft ban?

Sadly this only works most of the time. Certain enemies, like Tree Guardians, can one-hit you even with God Mode and/or Unlimited Health.
That’s not accurate at all. I can play all of my modded characters online without any problems at all. So can my friends that also use WM. EAC only does invasion sided checks.
Wait so you used wemod on your characters, and are still able to play online. What exactly did you change, and are you able to play with your friends? Just wondering cause I keep hearing different stuff.
Soft Bans are 180 days. It’s explained in their ToS that pops up when you load the game. It also states that if you still have that broken character after the time is up, then another ban-hammer is swung. It also means you won’t be with the general public, but with other cheaters (unless it’s been changed).
