Works great so far, but as I can tell, I was playing a single player skirmish match, and none of the AI moved out from their main base, just sat there doing nothing, eventually killed by other events, not making it much fun
It was just with one of my family members, sorry should have been more clear, I donât use any of the WeMod trainers online on any occasion, I just figured id test out to see if the issue happened everywhere
about the AI thing, I find that it happens when you use the food cheat right at the beginning of the game. wood or krowns cheat donât seem to affect them. you can enable the food cheat later in the game when theyâve all expanded. it doesnât affect affect the ai by then
Thatâs interesting, @mrsauerkraut, thanks for sharing that. Would be interesting of more players could test this. Havenât played this game myself yet but I may do in the future.
Maybe if the player gives themselves too much food, then the AI thinks that there are no more food resources on the map so it just gives up and awaits inevitable doom? The AI in earlier RTS games, like the Age of Empires franchise, would get over this hurdle by cheating, especially in harder difficulties. (Yes, the AI in earlier RTS games used certain cheats, like resource cheats, to try and beat the player. So youâre perfectly justified in using cheats too ).
Yep can confirm he is right. Without using the food cheat the AI does take land. Played the 6th mission twice. Once using food cheat from the get go,then without using it. And the AI remains in one area without expanding when the food cheat is used.
