@IIZerohero As the name of the trainer suggests, this one was designed specifically for the Steam version of the game.
You need to be using the Uplay version of the trainer, which is here: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Cheats and Trainer for Uplay

Unlimited Ship Health does not work. I have tried the other trainer for Uplay and the Unlimited Ship Health works. I have the Steam version of the game, so your trainer is the most stable for me. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated

Every time I start the mod for steam, it crashes my game. It used to work, then suddenly stopped working.

Hello @SORTLR5 and welcome to the community.

First of all, ensure that your copy of the game is legitimately purchased from Steam (as opposed to cracked) and that it is up to date.

Then also make sure that WeMod is up to date. If you see a notification in the bottom-left of WeMod to restart in order to be able to update the software, please do this.

If your issue still persists:

  1. Click the down arrow in the top-right of WeMod. Select “Settings”.
  2. Under the header “Release Channel”, select “Beta” from the drop-down box.
  3. Launch Task Manager and use End Task on WeMod.
  4. Launch WeMod again.

I put the program into the Beta mode, then restarted both the application and tried the game again. It is still doing the same thing with crashing the game. It displays the message “There was a problem starting the trainer. Your game version may not be compatible. You can also try again at a different point in your game.” The main menu for the trainers says that the trainer is compatible for the game, not listed under maybe compatible. I’ve also tried using the Uplay version instead of the Steam version and it does the same thing.

Good days to you all guys,

i found the cheat (Unlimited Ship Health) not effecting the actual health bar in-game,

could it be a possible thing to find a way to make it work?

when cheat activated it gives the notifying sound and shows as active, but you still get damage,

I booted up assassins creed black flag got my own ship all that got at least one of each resource like the cheat said then I pressed the key that I use for the cheat and nothing happened it turns itself off immediately

Hi, I know, very late for this old game, but I am a newbie on WeMod and have same basic questions:

  1. I downloaded everything, I signed in WeMod, and now when using the cheats I get the information that “my version of the game is not compatible with the cheats”? What does that mean?
  2. I purchased AC4 on steam, but had to create an Uplay account. So, what trainer do I have to install, uplay or stream?

Ok, I had to stop my McAfee live scan…

Still, NONE of the trainer works? Undetected, or unlimited ammo. This trainer is compeletely useless…

Undetected works sortofish at best. Many times they see you and gets to red but then goes back to ignoring you for a short while. So in missions you fail if they see you so i would call that broken sadly

I would like to buy and play this game, however I have learned to do some research, read the discussions etc, etc, before buying any game.
This game was updated by Ubisoft in January 2020, multiplayer was also added at that time.
This trainer says the last Trainer update was in August of 2019, so naturally the trainer will not function properly without an additional update.
There is no request for this game and no way to make one so I hope a moderator or staff member looks into this for us.

Please fix the unlimited resources cheats, they just turn off

I recently purchased the Steam version of the game, which comes complete with Ubisoft Connect (which I’m not sure if it’s interfering at all or something), but I’ve followed all the above mentioned steps, attempted to start the game through WeMod, then followed the instructions on this page: attempted to start the game through the Steam Launcher first and then clicked Play on WeMod once I was on the ACBF main menu, even restarted both the game and WeMod and regardless of what I do I get the same prompt of “There was a problem loading the cheats. If you didn’t close the game, your game version might not be compatible or you may have to allow WeMod through your firewall or anti-virus software”.

I’ve played other games successfully through WeMod before, so it’s not my anti-virus, I’ve made sure to download and use MrAntiFun’s version of the trainer and used the most updated version which was last updated 13-Aug-2019.

I still have been unable to get this all to work. Anyone have any ideas on what the issue may be still, or if this was ever resolved?

As far as I’m aware, there was an update or patch for this game in 2020. If the trainer’s last update was 2019 then it’s possibly in need of an update too.

I just want to add that this means nothing and, I’m some cases, is incorrect. Just because a few trainers worked before, it doesn’t mean they all will. Antiviruses will be fine with some trainers but not fine with others. Sometimes they will also be fine with a trainer then one day randomly decide not to like it anymore. WeMod should be added as an exception in your antivirus to lower the chances of this happening.
